New Mothers' Wellbeing Circle
A support circle for new mothers in the Stroud District. Each course runs for six weeks and provides you with an opportunity to reflect on and share about your experiences of new motherhood in a supportive group. Each week we will start with a cup of tea and a sharing circle in which everyone has the chance to speak (as much or as little as you like!) and to listen. We'll then move on to a practical wellbeing activity including:

-
gentle yoga and other body-based tools for nervous system regulation
-
mindfulness
-
journalling
-
practical self-care planning
-
guided relaxation.
You will end the course with a new set of tools to help you navigate this part of your life, and the ongoing support of a circle of new mothers.

You also have the opportunity to join a WhatsApp group for members of the circle to keep in touch throughout the course and after the course has ended.

The group is suitable for mothers of babies up to 12 months old. You are welcome to bring your baby with you, or to attend alone.

Groups run on Tuesdays, 10am-11.30am at St Albans Church in Stroud.

This course is generously funded by the Stroud Hospitals League of Friends and so is free of charge to attend.
