Nature Connection Circle

We know that spending time in nature is good for our wellbeing, but how often do we intentionally take the time to stop and soak it all up? As mothers our heads are filled with the mental load, the constant notification pings, never ending to do lists... the weight on our shoulders.

This circle is an invitation to stop. To put it all down. To disconnect from the noise of busy lives and reconnect with the real natural world. An intentional space for you and your baby (if you bring them) to get off the merry-go-round and breathe together. No distractions, no demands, no expectations. This is a group for being, not doing.

Join Verity and a group of other mothers to slow down, connect with nature and with each other. Each week we'll start with a sharing circle, a chance to speak as much or as little as you like and to listen. Then we'll move into grounding practices using various techniques to awaken our senses, connect with our bodies and breath.

Followed by an invitation to forest bathe - an intentional space for you and your baby (if you've brought them!) to walk and connect with yourselves and nature, to simply be in the present moment within the woods.

We will then come back together, share and connect over tea and a seasonal inspired activity - this may be a creative craft, singing or listening to a poem/story.

Your little one will need to be in the sling/wrap/carrier so up to 12 months max appropriate age. The space is not accessible for prams, but there will be some space to pop little ones down if needed, and an assistant on hand to help carry your baby if baby wearing is not accessible for you.

The land is on a hill and there will be some walking activity during the session so please wear suitable gripped footwear. We will aim to be outside for the entirety of the session so please ensure you have weather appropriate clothing for yourself and baby. We have access to a sheltered roundhouse if we're in need.
